The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, sokoto today at its convocation ceremony and 40th anniversary book launch got more than one billion naira
This money was earned during the launching of the 40th anniversary book. The nigerian governors forum donated the sum of one billion naira, governor Ambode of lagos donated the sum of ten million Naira,former minister of defence general TY Danjuma donated the sum of 10 million Naira and former governor of Crossriver state Donald Duke donated the sum of 2 million Naira.
The vice chancellor Professor A.A Zuru stated that the money gotten would be channelled into projects in the university.
