UDUS Loses 400 level student after battle with cancer

A 400 level student of the department of  modern and European languages of the usmanu danfodiyo university, sokoto has lost his life after battling with cancer for about three months. He was said to have died from stomach cancer that started late October last year.

The deceased had undergone surgeries and was saisd to have been recuperating but then suffered a relapse and died. Yusuf who was described by one of his lecturers as a sweet young man celebrated his birthday on the first of January this year and had even posted on facebook that God should grant him good health. At the time, he was getting better and was even seen in a picture with his birthday cake.

Yusuf kicked the bucket at the Usmanu danfodiyo university teaching hospital uduth on friday and was buried on Saturday. He was buried on saturday.
