Chemistry Department Loses Associate Professor

The department of pure and applied chemistry, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto lost one of its lecturers, Dr. Polycarp .O. Ikeh on wednesday 17th February 2016. He was an associate professor until his death.
According to reports, he was hale and hearty on the day of his death, however after having dinner he retired to his bedroom and slumped and died.
Dr. Ikeh used to take polymer and ceramic chemistry till his death. Lectures were also suspended on Thursday at the department to mourn him.
He would be greatly missed by staff and students.
