My love for my school- By Abdulrasaq Ahmad

“Everything is fair in love and war”
If you find anything unpleasant in this write-up, I refer you to the above saying. My love for the most peaceful university in Nigeria made me overlooked all her loopholes. Albeit, the love is stupid. In fact I personally converted all her disadvantages to advantages and all her negatives to positives. I strongly believe in the notion of “no pain, no gain”. It doesn’t matter when and how it comes, provided it is going to happen reasonably in a reasonable time, and there is a bucket full of certainty for the future existence of “gain”.
I was privileged to go through many write-ups, articles and works, I heard many soothsayers tagged my school as a backward and awkward one, these assertions, which I conceived as being false due to the passionate love for my school. It is the assertion of some people that snail moves faster than our calendar, I replied them by saying;” it gives me enough time to read and research”, another one says “some of our lecturer are strict and rigid”, I replied them saying;”that is why I work hard day and night to meet their requisitions”, and many more negative opinions which already, I have converted them to positives via my profound love for the institution.
I see everyone having a degrading view on this institution as being subjective, they turned deaf ears and blind eyes to the blessings and fortune of this great academy, it implies ungratefulness to the blessings God encapsulated in their personalty through my lovely institution.
Over to you, my lovely Danfodiyo…
“live with people and know their problems, live with God to solve their problems”
Despite the fact that you are updating and upgrading, I want to see you updated and upgraded so that you may meet global standard. forget not, my lovely school, other institutions now uses projectors as their boards, classes fully equipped with air conditions, they no longer step on sand due to effective walkway facilities, and they influence all sort of social programs and action projects. I know you can beat them all.
Learning colleagues! Stop yelling for excess freedom, for freedom without limitation will amount to substantial restraint, many will exceed their freedom and trampled on yours. I know how you all feel, I am one of you. “Life is not always perfect until you look within yourself and feel perfectly contented”.
To those with the assertion that “we are smiling and suffering”, I concur and aligned myself with their position, but I will not forget to remind you that Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto state Governor) and Idris Kutigi  once suffered and smiled on this campus.
Stay steady, with focus and forbearance, your story may be far beyond uniqueness.
